About Your Chiropodist
Joyce is a licensed chiropodist at Applewood Foot and Orthotics Clinic. After finishing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, Joyce went on to study Chiropody at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN in Toronto. She has gained valuable clinical experience through Kitchener Foot and Orthotics Clinic, Waterloo Foot Clinic, and Ancaster Footfixer Clinic. She holds a special interest in routine foot care, minor surgical interventions and biomechanics.
Growing up with her grandparents, Joyce has seen first hand how ageing affects the feet and mobility of the body. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care to prevent, treat, and alleviate any foot issues of each individual that comes into our office. She is committed to being up to date with all treatment options and providing informative advice and education.
Outside of work, you can find Joyce at a dog park with her chihuahua terrier Tippy, snuggling her cat Zippy or camping and hiking at a provincial park.
She is looking forward to seeing you at our clinic.

At your initial visit, your chiropodist will ask you questions about your foot-related concerns and any relevant medical history. An extensive assessment of your feet will be performed. After determining what is going on, your chiropodist will then educate you on different treatment options going forward. The practitioner will thoroughly go through the price, risks, benefits and expected treatment timeline for each. For your first appointment, please bring a list of medications, any relevant recent medical findings (x-ray, ultrasound reports) and some of your most-worn footwear.
